A comedy club with class
Founded in 2011 by veteran improv comedy performer, actor, and educator Kim Greene Hiller, THE LAUGHING ACADEMY began as an extracurricular program within the Glenview Public School System, eventually offering more than 40 classes across 12 area schools.
In 2019 the school proudly moved into its own home at 3230 Glenview Road in Glenview Illinois, and expanded its offerings to include improv, stand-up and storytelling classes for high school students and adults.
In 2020, Academy After Hours debuted, bringing top comedians from across the country to perform in the studio's intimate mainstage space, offering a unique opportunity for the Glenview community to enjoy some of the best in the business right in their own "backyard."
